Caroline Hare founded Waves Girls Conference in 2013, and is excited that Waves Ministry, INC. is able to minister to girls and women in youth ministry locally and globally. She is a Nashville, TN native, and has a degree in Youth and Family Ministry from Abilene Christian University. She's currently the Next Generations Pastor and Pastor for Ministry Coordination at Destin United Methodist Church in Destin, FL, & has done youth ministry for 13 years. In addition, Caroline has done podcasts, written small group curriculum, and articles for Seedbed, The Upper Room Books, and the Youth Worker Collective. She has a column in The Destin Log called "Big Hare, Big Faith." Caroline is a part of the United States Coalition of Apostolic Leaders Futures Alliance. In 2019, she is stepping on the Advisory Board for Hope for the World. Having done ministry or preached in 8 different Nations, Caroline is excited about Waves taking it's next step in reaching the next generation.
Christy Maraman moved around a lot as a student, but for the past 10 years she has resided in Niceville, FL. She played volleyball at Bryan College her freshman year and then transferred to Ashford University where she received a degree in Health Care Administration. Christy helped lead the Young Adult Women's Ministry for Crying Out at Vision Church at Christian International for 5 years. She also helped lead a high school girls small group at Destin United Methodist Church in Destin, FL for 2 years, and she serves on the Board for Vision Church Fort Walton Beach in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Lastly, Christy is a part of the United States Coalition of Apostolic Leaders Futures Alliance.
Taylor Maraman Barber is a Niceville, FL native. After high school, she attended Ministry Training College at Christian International in Santa Rosa Beach, FL with a focus in Worship Ministry. For 3 years she was on the worship team at Vision Church at Christian International, and she currently serves as the worship leader for the Prayer and Intercession services at Vision Church, Fort Walton Beach in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Recently, Taylor interned with Nikki Mathis, the worship leader for Summit Crestview. She enjoys writing songs from her own quiet time with the Lord, and is ready for waves of deliverance and healing to come through her song! Lastly, Taylor is a part of the United States Coalition of Apostolic Leaders Futures Alliance.
Amanda Wilders Cheeley grew up in O'Fallon, Missouri and now lives in the beautiful area of Destin, Florida. She has worked over nine years in ministry and spent a year in Sydney, Australia at Hillsong International Leadership College. She currently works at Destin United Methodist Church as a worship leader and the Young Adults Minister. She has a passion for worship, as well as ministering to girls of all ages. She wrote a book called "Shall We Dance? - Waiting for Mr. Right... From One Single to Another" is out now! She joined the Waves Team in 2016 and is excited to start making waves in the lives of girls not only in this community, but throughout the world.
